课程介绍

My English tutoring lessons focuses intensively on improving fluency,
pronunciation and speaking skills.  Your Engish communication will therefore
improve, along with your vocabulary.  My lessons are themed, fun, interactive,
stimulating and designed to appeal to different learning styles.  



This  lesson is themed "Rachel de Beer"  and based on a true story.  I always
start my lessons with a warmer video.  A movie was made about her and in this
case the short 2 minute video is the trailer of the movie.  The lesson starts
with some grammar which the student need to know on the specific CEFR
level my student is at:  beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate or advanced.  We then proceed to vocabulary which is taken out of the reading.  I have a very unique of teaching vocabulary which guarantees that my students will remember the words.  We read the story/article together (shadow reading) after which we talk about what we have read.  During the reading exercise, I check pronunciation and intonation and during the speaking exercise, the focus is on sentence structure and sentence correction.  My lesson is concluded with students making sentences with the new words learnt during the lesson using the  "spin the wheel" exercise and a few exercises on words which some students might find confusing.  My cooler is a fun, entertaining short video to leave the student with a "feel-good" feeling as he/she exits my virtual classroom.
