Lesson Title: Business English Intro Lesson

Content: Needs Analysis — How to talk about your job
Target Student: Anyone who uses English for their job
Language Focus: Idioms, phrasal verbs in corporate settings
This lesson comprises three main parts:
First, the student will be provided with an interactive Needs Analysis (Google Docs) — which focuses on the profile of a business English student — or just someone who needs to use English for their current work. This includes a section asking about the student's job and a short description of their daily responsibilities at work.
Next, the student will take part in several interactive activities to become more familiar with some of the language used to talk about our job/work. There will also be a concept check at this stage — check the student understands the meaning of the vocabulary/phrases already presented in the lesson.
Finally, the student will practise speaking about their job and what they usually do at work on a daily basis.
