This lesson is perfect for anyone who wants to start drawing, regardless of their current skill level! Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your fundamentals, or training for a goal, we’ll work together step-by-step to build your confidence and skills.
Drawing from my experience as an art teacher for universities and institutions in London, I’ll guide you through essential drawing techniques like line control, basic shapes, and shading, adapting the lesson to your interests and goals.
Likewise, based on your goals, we can perform the lesson in Japanese and/or English to create a facilitated experience that also allows for language immersion.

For younger students, we can focus on fun themes like drawing cute animals or favorite characters.
For teens and adults, we can explore more structured approaches including perspective, figure drawing, or specific subjects you’re passionate about.

What makes this lesson special is the collaborative approach - I’ll be drawing alongside you, demonstrating techniques in real-time and providing immediate feedback. By the end of our session, you’ll have created one or two drawings that you’ll be proud to share with others.
No prior experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and basic drawing materials (paper and pencils). Available in both English and Japanese to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the lesson.
