This lesson gets you to think about and express a bit about who you are - in English, we can say, 'What I'm about.' It's a 'getting to know you' lesson but the thinking is a little deeper, so it's around intermediate level English.

We will work off of a worksheet on the screen and you will speak (and write if you like). After your profile is complete, we will look at a ficticious profile and you will tell me about this person - this will help you to practice the present simple grammar tense in the singular positive form.

Lastly, if we have time, we will create your 'alien name.' This part is just for fun, it's not educational. I use it as a creative way to make student name badges when I first meet them. You can see some examples below.
