In these lessons, we will focus on speaking—on developing your ability to communicate naturally and confidently in English. We may discuss a topic of your interest, or I might suggest a theme. We can make small talk, or you can tell me about something related to your daily life or a situation where you need English, and I can help you with it.
These lessons are not structured in the sense that we don’t follow a textbook or a progressive order of content. However, I do plan lessons and prepare customized material—such as videos (e.g., news clips, interviews, movie scenes) or readings (e.g., articles, famous quotes)—to prompt topics for discussion. In doing so, we will also practice listening comprehension and reading. Moreover, during the lessons we may review grammar or learn new vocabulary when necessary.
