In this advanced Business English lesson, students will explore how artificial intelligence is changing the way we use and develop skills in the workplace.

You will discuss important questions such as:
Do we lose essential skills when we rely on AI? How does technology affect critical thinking and professional development?

The lesson focuses on building both vocabulary and fluency through meaningful discussion and analysis of real-world issues.

You will:

  • Learn and use advanced collocations related to skills and professional development
  • Discuss how skills evolve, improve, or deteriorate over time
  • Watch and analyze a video about AI and its impact on human thinking
  • Practice useful expressions for talking about ability and learning (e.g. “get the hang of,” “brush up on,” “lose the edge”)
  • Share opinions and debate ideas about technology and the future of work

This lesson is ideal for C1–Advanced learners who want to improve their Business English, critical thinking, and ability to discuss complex global topics confidently.
