The Book of Daniel is a book of prophecy. This book is tied and intertwined with the Book of Revelation of the New Testament. It's wonderful to even understand that the Old Testament and the New Testament are convoluted together by God's grace.
There will be a lot of information and details that you will need to remember and understand because history is one of the keys to understanding the fulfilment of prophecies. I can say that 95% of the Book of Daniel has already been fulfilled with evidences from history and historical archaeologies, proven by scientists.
I will give you lots of materials to understand the timeline and who is who at the end of this course.
Note: This course will take at least 9 lessons to understand the basics of this Book.

Thank you so much for today's lesson. This time, the story of the Ottoman Empire and the British army reminded me of the story of Lawrence of Arabia. I've seen him in the movie. This is the last lesson in the Book of Daniel. I'm thankful that I have accomplished this course. The book of Daniel was a short book, but it contained many people, countries, and histories. It was like the small universe and it was a long journey to learn. I've learned a lot from the many movies, videos, maps, and long feedback that you've given to me. One of my favorite lessons is the story of Alexander the Great. I'm a fan of his, so I was surprised to find him in the Bible. The most I've learned is your passionate teaching attitude. Your intellect and deep knowledge led me deep understanding. With many thanks.

Thank you very much for your lesson today. I was happy to meet you. Thanks for answering the questions, although I skipped Daniel 11. I am glad that I learned Daniel 12 in your class. I've been listening with interest to Millenarianism. This thought is important, but not much famous thought in Japan. But the Bible is written over and over again about eschatology. A few years ago, I took your first lesson without any knowledge of Daniel, prophecy, and eschatology. I know how to read the Bible much better than the past. The next lesson will be the last one. It's a little sad at the end because I've learned it for so long, but I'm looking forward to your class!

Thank you for today's lesson. I feel the book of Hebrew chapter 10 is a very beautiful text. I found that Judaism and Christianity are completely different. “Judaism”, “Christianity” and “Islam” have similar foundations and I didn’t know why they fight each other, but I learned from your many lessons that these three are very different in history. At today's lesson, I wondered that Judaism has not eaten sacrifice animals after the burnt offering. In Japanese Shinto, the people eat holy offerings after offering to God. Even in Buddhism, I will eat the offerings later. Many of them are sweets, fruits and Japanese rice wine(sake). Japanese eats God's offering means "God eating together" and this is the origin of Japanese festivals. So when I hear about Judaism's burnt offering and they don't eat them, I feel it's a little waste, but this is a different culture and I know this holy ritual is continued since Moses. Thanks again for today's lesson.

Thank you for your last lesson, especially the explanation about the tabernacle. In Japanese, it calls "Makuya" and it means in general, a hut with a curtain or a dressing room used when performing Noh[dance]. I didn't know it is a sacred place, so I surprised. I was wondering, so I checked about the tabernacle after this lesson myself. The meaning of the "Makuya" was different between general Japanese words and Japanese Christians. This is a translation issue. Maybe Japanese Christians know "Makuya" is the tabernacle, but much Japanese think "Makuya" is only a hut with a curtain. I was mistaken for an ordinary tent. Thank you for telling me about the tabernacle!

Thank you for today's lesson. I will write a little experience of the earthquake. My scariest experience was the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. When the earthquake happened, I was working in a building near the sea. Every employee and I ran from the building and evacuated outside. After a while, a public car came to us and announced "The tsunami will come here soon. Evacuate immediately". Fortunately, in my area, the tsunami was stopped at the breakwater. That was the scariest day of my life. Thank you for the story of Jewish history. I understood that Catholicism and Judaism were separated in history. I was surprised because I didn't expect Napoleon's story to come out. I will look at books and movies about Napoleon. There is a synagogue in Tokyo, but they don't welcome interested tourists. Tourists cannot enter without an appointment one week in advance. There is another synagogue in western Japan, and it seems that I can go sightseeing. West Japan is far from home, so I can't go there easily, but I want to go if I have a chance.
