Goal
1. Students will know how to use perfect modals
2. They will be able to express their regret
3. They will be able to express past possibilities
Step 1. Pre-Task (5 Minutes)
In pairs, students will discuss the following:
A. things they wish they hadn't bought
B. Food they should have tried
Preparation (5 Minutes)
Activity 1 (5 Minutes)
- The teacher will explain the perfect modals to students. Which modals are used un a person is certain uncertain and there is a possibility. As well as the sentence structure for both active and passive voice
Production ( 17 Minutes)
Activity 1 ( 3 Minutes)
- Students will identify correct sentences in passive voice and add pronouns where needed
Activity 2 ( 3 minutes)
- students will for sentences using active voice perfect modals.
Activity 3 ( 3 Minutes)
- Students will be shown a passage, and they have to find examples of perfect modals
Activity 4 (8 Minutes)
- a conversation model video will be shown to students, and after, they will be asked to make their own conversation using the provided scenario.
Feedback (3 Minutes)
students will then be provided with feedback
