The glue (linking) between our words
Description
We need prepositions - and they need us!
It's all about relationships
To communicate clearly in English we need prepositions to let each other know the relationship between space, time and movement.
A preposition is a word or group of words used to link nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence.
Some examples of prepositions are single words like in, at, on, of, to, by and with or phrases such as in front of, next to, instead of and many, many others.
Let's look at some example sentences together.
And remember ... never use a preposition after a verb!
PDFs and exercises included with lesson.
