Consistency Is Key (and I finally put it in a lesson pack)

2025年12月28日

Hello everyone,

First, as 2025 comes to a close, I want to say thank you—truly!  I’ve appreciated teaching all of you more than I can say, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed every minute of our lessons together. (Yes, even some of the awkward silences. Especially the awkward silences.)

After a few years and a few thousand lessons—3,413 to be precise at the time of this writing—I’ve noticed something very clear:

The students who make the strongest, most noticeable progress are not the ones who cram occasionally or study heroically once in a while. They’re the ones who show up consistently—about once a week.

English, it turns out, likes rhythm. It responds poorly to panic.

So, to better support your learning journey—and perhaps your New Year’s “this is the year I really improve my English” resolution—I’ve created a new lesson pack:

The “Consistency Is Key” 5-Lesson Conversation Pack

It’s designed for students who want steady progress, clear feedback, and momentum over time. To encourage exactly that, the pack comes with a 45-day usage window, which gently nudges us into a healthy, weekly rhythm (no cram marathons required).

You can see the full details here:

https://cafetalk.com/lesson/detail/?c=eJzzKSoOCMjLdi10NDQo9gv3j3Q0SzNMt7UFAGXWB7I.&lang=en

The idea is simple:

  • You commit to showing up regularly

  • I handle the planning, coaching, and summaries

  • Your English actually starts sticking

And a quick note for a couple of groups who may be reading this and thinking, “Hmm…”:

  • If your English practice has slipped a bit lately (it happens to the best of us), this pack is meant to be a friendly nudge to get things moving again—no guilt, no pressure.

  • If you took a trial lesson in the past and it didn’t quite click, I’d genuinely be happy to try again. One lesson is only a snapshot, and teaching—like English—is better with context and continuity.

No pressure—just structure, consistency, and better results.

As always, thank you for trusting me with your English. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey together—one well-timed conversation at a time.

Warm regards,

Manning
