Most of my students speak Mandarin as their native language, as I have lived in and taught Japanese in Taiwan for many years. Many of them are eager to study Japanese because they enjoy traveling to Japan, watching Japanese anime, or Japanese TV dramas. I am always delighted and feel motivated when I watch students who could hardly communicate in Japanese at first, gradually improve and become able to have fun chatting in Japanese.
I love to listen to what my students have to say. During the lesson, I try to limit the amount of time I speak and ask my students to speak as much as they can. Even if you make a mistake or get stuck on a word, please don't give up. Continuing to practice speaking will help you improve. It may be difficult to find the courage to speak at first.
But it's alright. I will do my best to support you throughout the process of learning Japanese, so you can enjoy practicing conversational Japanese.
I would like to continue to improve my lessons from the student's perspective by asking myself, "What kind of lessons would I like to take?" so that I can offer lessons with even better content. I look forward to continue working with you in the future.
