Hello there! My name is Liane and I am excited to introduce myself as a proficient English teacher with vast experience and expertise. I hold a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and have spent several years teaching English to a diverse range of individuals.


To remain up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, I have also completed my TESOL and TEFL certifications. For me, teaching is not just a profession but a passion that I enjoy immensely. I believe that every student deserves an instructor who is patient, flexible, and open-minded, and who can make the learning process enjoyable and engaging.

 


Being a bilingual non-native speaker myself, I fully comprehend the complexities of learning another language. I am aware that the language acquisition process varies from one learner to another. As a result, I always customize my teaching style based on the student's age, level, learning needs, and preferences. This approach enables me to provide tailored, interactive, and enjoyable lessons.

In my classes, I use a teaching methodology called G.A.T.E. which is designed to provide high-quality lessons. G.A.T.E. stands for Good Approach, Active Correction with Examples, Interaction, and Energy & Enthusiasm. 

Firstly, the "G" in G.A.T.E. stands for Good Approach. This means that I strive to approach each lesson in a manner that is clear, concise, and easy for my students to understand. 

Secondly, the "A" in G.A.T.E. stands for Active Correction with Examples. This means that I actively correct my students' mistakes and provide them with real-world examples to help them better understand the concepts we are covering in class. 

Thirdly, the "T" in G.A.T.E. stands for Interaction. I believe that interaction is key to effective learning, so I make sure that my classes are interactive and engaging. I encourage my students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and share their ideas with the class. 

Finally, the "E" in G.A.T.E. stands for Energy & Enthusiasm. I bring energy and enthusiasm to each class to create a positive and engaging learning environment. By doing so, I aim to make my classes enjoyable for my students, while also helping them to achieve their learning goals.
 

      When I'm not teaching, I love exploring the beaches in the tropical paradise where I reside. At home, I indulge in my other hobbies, such as watching movies, baking desserts, and singing karaoke. In school, I used to perform as a singer and dancer. Therefore, if you are interested in incorporating English songs into our lessons, I am more than happy to oblige.


     If audio-only lessons suit you better, that's perfectly fine too. Just let me know when making a lesson request, and I will tailor our sessions to your preferences.

     As a 26-year-old teacher, I am determined, adaptable, and always up for a challenge. I have had the privilege of teaching English to students of all levels and backgrounds, ranging from complete beginners to advanced learners. It is incredibly fulfilling to help my students overcome language barriers and achieve their goals.

      I am delighted to join this company and continue developing my skills as a teacher. Having worked with learners from various backgrounds, I am eager to share my passion for teaching with you and assist you in taking your English language skills to the next level.
