Hello! I’m Ashley, and I’m a writing tutor from the US. I’m passionate about language and love helping writers communicate their ideas. I have a PhD in Linguistics and have been teaching for nearly a decade. I also work at an academic journal where I help authors through the publishing process, including editing their manuscripts for language use. Let me put my experience in the academic publishing world to use helping you improve your writing skills and perfect that paper, thesis, or essay you’ve been working on.

 

My lessons are for university, graduate, and high school students looking to develop their academic writing skills and produce clear, thorough work to be submitted to an academic journal or for course requirements. I will start by identifying the student’s level and needs before creating a custom lesson plan. Students can also request certain topics. Lessons will be hands-on with lots of writing practice and kind feedback!
