Hello there! 

My name is Elisa, a native English speaker from Cameroon with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. I have a certificate in TEFL/TESOL with over 3 years of experience teaching both onsite and offsite.

 

I love to read novels, experience new cultures, dancing and spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy teaching people, no matter how little or how much the knowledge I am imparting, it gives me great joy. I also believe that everyone should have the opportunity for education, even if it just involves learning a new language.

 

WHAT I OFFER:

 

I offer Conversational classes, Vocabulary building, General English, IELTS Practice, English for Business, English for Travel, Studying Abroad guidance, TOEIC practice, Counseling.

TEACHING STYLE/LESSONS

 

* I get to know you better, why you want to learn English and what areas of your English you want to improve.

* My lesson plans are based on the areas you want to improve.

* I use visual aids such as videos, audio, and pictures during classes. You even get to speak on each visual aid, do comprehension exercises, learn new vocabulary and, of course, I'll correct your mistakes and grammar. (These methods help you understand each topic better and make each class very enjoyable and fun.)

* I also use documents, which could contain various topics and exercises that will help improve your vocabulary and grammar.

* Conversation classes help you speak on various topics, which could be personal or things happening around the world. You are free to pick a topic of your choice.

* I also engage you in dialogues and role-plays.

* I am very patient when teaching, so I do not rush you but help you progress at your own speed or level of understanding.

 

I believe that every classroom has its own unique community, and my role as a teacher would be to assist you in developing your own potential or skills and learning styles that will help you become a good English speaker.
