Hello, my name is Ameena and I bring over 12 years of teaching experience, including 5 years of online teaching expertise. I specialize in English language instruction across various levels, including IGCSE, Social Studies, and science-integrated lessons. My teaching repertoire spans grades 3 to 6, where I create engaging and interactive lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
As a teacher, I have guided students through literary works such as Moby-Dick and The Railway Children, ensuring a deep understanding of both classic literature and contemporary topics like mobile phone technology. My passion lies in making learning an enriching experience, whether it’s through exploring new vocabulary or fostering critical thinking.
Having worked with students from various cultural backgrounds, I am adept at adapting teaching methods to suit individual requirements. Recently, I have also designed a spoken English program for a Pakistani student transitioning to the USA, highlighting my ability to cater to specific linguistic goals.
Note: I would love to work with female students, as I feel this aligns better with my teaching preferences.
