Marco B Tutor Profile

Hi, my name is Marco. I am an American currently living in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. I began teaching English in Japan in 2021, and have taught over 2,000 lessons to Japanese students since then. I have taught students from beginner level to advanced level, and have experience with all age groups.

My expertise is in:
  • English grammar
  • Written English
  • Pronunciation
  • Vocabulary
I enjoy teaching native English and want to help students speak and enjoy their favorite content in English. I like to use materials like books, games, and manga to help students connect with the English language and the cultural aspects of English. My teaching style is relaxed, so don't hesitate to sign up for my lessons even if you are a beginner!

I speak Japanese, and am continuing to learn, so I understand what it's like to learn a second language. Let's do our best to learn together! If you don't understand something, I can explain it in Japanese as well, so please don't worry.

I also have experience with American business English, as well as Eiken test preparation. If you are interested in lessons in those areas, please let me know!

In my free time I enjoy writing stories, reading manga, and visiting shrines and temples in Japan.
