Hello! I’m Mariana, a Brazilian Portuguese teacher from Rio de Janeiro.
I have been teaching Portuguese online since 2020, helping adults and teenagers communicate more naturally and confidently.
My lessons are calm, welcoming, and adapted to each student’s level, interests, and pace. We can work on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and practical Portuguese for everyday situations.
I particulary enjoy helping students who have Brazilian partners, relatives, friends, or a personal connection with Brazil.
Beginners are very welcome, and I can explain grammar and vocabulary in English when helpful.

I have a degree in Pedagogy and postgraduate training in Conference Interpreting and Psychopedagogy.
