Konnichiwa! My name is Riku!
I’m from Fukuoka, Japan.
 
I have been teaching Japanese for more than 8 years and like talking with people from different countries.
My students say I’m sociable and always smiling when talking with my students!
 
And I have a great interest in different cultures and traveling in different countries.
I have been to Australia, England, NZ, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
But I hope to visit the countries where my friends live some day, such as the US, Taiwan, Switzerland, France, Mexico and so on.
 
I also like listening to and playing music because I used to play bass guitar in a rock band.
My favorite genres are rock and funk and I sometimes listen to jazz, R&B and classical music.
Since I know how to play bass and guitar a little, I'm familiar with musical terms in Japanese.
So, I can teach them if you want to!
 
I also like exercising, gadgets and some classic anime (especially Jojo's Bizarre Adventure!).
So, I hope we will able to have a good conversation with you in Japanese!
