Musaab 講師のプロフィール
Hello to you all!
My name is Musaab and I'm from Manchester, U.K. and I've been living and teaching in Japan since 2002.
I used to live in Tokyo, but after the COVID pandemic started, I decided to make a change and try somewehere new.
So, since 2022 I've been here in Nagano prefecture, in the beautiful city of Matsumoto. If you've never visited, I can definitely recommend it!
In my long teaching experience I have supported people in many careers, such as: medical professionals, academics, banking/finance, legal, I.T., marketing/sales and university students. Therefore I am adaptable and flexible in my approach to teaching.
I am most experienced with adult learners and happy to help you improve your English for business purposes or simply for general speaking and conversation skills.
My main goal is to ensure you have a positive learning experience and keep your motivation to continue studying, with as little stress as possible. As a teacher, I'm professional but positive and humourous and I do my best to provide clear guidance and feedback.
If you need strict correction or a more relaxed style of lesson, please let me know.
By the way, I have no problem if you study with children or family members in the background, as long as noise is minimised.
In order to communicate as clearly as possible and to teach nonverbal techniques such as body language and gesture, I request all students activate their video in my lessons.
Away from teaching, my other focus is building my art/illustration business (by the way, I'd love to talk about art and creative processes in our English lessons) and I graduated university with a degree in illustration.
I love creative activities such as music (I play guitar), cooking, baking bread and building Lego with my son, as well as enjoying nature by hiking and cycling.
