Nicholas2023 講師のプロフィール
My name is Nicholas a resident of Maryland, US. Originally born and raised in Uganda, I moved to South Korea to pursue graduate studies in Biological, Biomedical and Chemical Sciences. Upon obtaining my PhD, I moved to the States to work at The Johns Hopkins Medicine as a postdoctoral researcher. Currently, I am researching Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. During my PhD program, I was concurrently conducting English classes to both adults and kids. I have decided to continue providing English lessons as I love teaching. My interests are in politics, science, socioeconomic and global issues--such as environment and climate change--culture, food and languages, business. My teaching style is student-based learning. This i believe helps increase student engagement, participation, and motivation, improved critical thinking and problem-solving skills, greater independence, and personalised learning.
