Teaching Style
I try to adjust each lesson based on the students needs and goals. Everyone is different; let's find what works best for you! I am bilingual so we can use Japanese to better help you understand if needed. I try to make each lesson interesting so that learning English can be enjoyable and not feel like a struggle.
皆さんのニーズや目標に合わせてレッスンを進めています。ひとりひとり違うので、あなたに合った学びかたを一緒に探しましょう！英語も日本語もお話ができます。分からない時があれば日本語で説明することもできます。英語学習は大変、という気持ちにならないよう、毎回のレッスンを面白く！楽しく！するよう心がけています。
About Me
I was born and raised in Manhattan NY. For a while I was a hair stylist but 9 years ago I made a big life change and moved to Japan. I started teaching English here for the past 3 years and have experience teaching practical American English.
I have a family with 2 sons. We are a happy bilingual family!
I went to an art high school and love painting, ceramics, photography, etc! Since having kids though, I have less time for art. I do hope to be able to continue when my kids are more independent.
I also love travel, cooking, and eating!
ニューヨークのマンハッタン生まれ育ちです。しばらくは美容師をしていましたが、9年前に夫と一緒に日本へ引っ越すことを決めました。３年前にこっちで英会話教室を始め、主にアメリカ英語の標準語を教えています。
今は４人、ハッピーバイリンガル家族です。
高校は美術専門だったため、アクリル画、陶芸、写真、色々興味あります。ただ、子供が生まれてからアートと触れることが少なくなり、２人がもうちょっと大きくなったらまた復活したいと思ってます。
他にも、旅行、料理、食べることが大好きです！
I think English is a powerful tool that can help people connect from all over the world. Learning about new cultures and sharing your own is special. I want more Japanese people to speak English! Learning English is difficult so I hope we can find a fun way to learn and improve so you can be comfortable and confident with English!
英語でお話ができたら世界のいろんな人とお話ができるようになるってことです。新しい文化を知ったり、日本の文化も共有できることはすごい素敵なので、日本人もっと英語喋れるようになって欲しいです！英語を学ぶことはとても難しいです。楽しい学びかたを探し、英語を気楽に！自信をもって話せるように一緒に頑張りましょう！
