My name is Josh, I am from Chicago, IL, I currently live in Osaka, Japan. My birthday is October 18th. I am fun, like to talk, make people laugh, and share stories!
Career History (In Japan)
I taught as an ALT in Kyoto for a year, in Shiga as an afterschool English teacher for 2 years, and as an online English tutor for over 1 year and a half. I love Japanese culture. My majors in college were Disneystyle animation and Japanese Studies.

Hobbies!
I like studying Japanese, anime, manga, video games, music, YouTube, Netflix , Dramas. My most recent video game is Super Smash Bros. I love Pokemon and plushies! I love Dragonball! Hajime no Ippo! they inspired me to become a Muay Thai Fighter in Osaka! You read that right, I am a current Muay Thai fighter in Japan! I also have a Pokemon gym at home! My favorite characters are Goku, Ippo, Deku, and Clive from Final Fantasy XVI. and my favorite Pokemon are Blaziken, Infernape, Hitmonchan, and Hitmonlee and Machamp!
Also I can do voice impressions of Mickey Mouse and Hikakin!

My Preferred Way of Teaching
I like to have a casual conversation and provide corrrections along the way., I can also teach daily conversation, and commonly used phrases, even slang. Of course it depends on the individual and how they would like to have a lesson.
I like to teach English because of how fulfilling and regarding it is. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I see students progress in their studies. Weather you are experienced or a beginner in English, I would like to help! Let`s learn together!
