Hello! Hola!
My name is Kodani Takako (古谷孝子).
I teach Japanese, Spanish, and English from beginner to advanced levels, so that you can have fun and converse with ease.
Would you like to fold origami with me while learning Spanish and English? I was born in Fukui and raised in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. I first came into contact with the language, culture, and customs of other countries when I worked as a tour guide for a theme pavilion at a World Exposition, which prompted me to go to the U.S. for further language study to see more of the world with my own eyes, and later moved to Venezuela in South America. At first, I didn’t understand Spanish at all and made many mistakes and was embarrassed by them, but little by little, I was able to blend in and before I knew it, I felt like I was in my own country. Using this experience, I focus on learning languages in a gentle and fun way so that I can get what I want to say across first.
Learning a language is a way to make friends with people from all over the world.
Join me to learn about the differences in culture, history, customs, and ways of thinking, and deepen your understanding of other countries.
