It’s nice to meet all of you!
My name is Chika E.
It is said that there are about 1.4 billion speakers of Chinese in the world.
That's right, about one in five people in the world use Chinese.
Therefor, if you can use Chinese, don’t you think that it would be extremely useful for business, traveling, and your hobbies?
In fact, Japanese speakers have a great advantage in learning Chinese.
Compared to people from cultures that don’t use Kanji characters, such as English and Arabic cultures, people from cultures that use Kanji characters, such as Japanese, have a great advantage just by being able to already understand Kanji.
However, what Japanese speakers face when learning Chinese is the barrier caused by pronunciation.
In fact, I was one of the ones who struggled with that.
I didn't start learning Chinese until I was 18 years old, and I didn't visit China until I was an adult.
Even though I wasn’t a native speaker of Chinese, I now receive complements from native Chinese speakers that “my pronunciation is beautiful!”.
I believe that I can help Japanese speakers solve their problems because I have experienced the same difficulties in learning Chinese.
In individualized lessons, I will teach you how to pronounce Chinese in an easy to understand manner, such as the correct shape of your mouth and the position of your tongue.
I also try to explain grammar in a way that makes it easier to imagine. For example, I’ll use comparisons of English and Japanese to ease your understandings.
Even if you’re a beginner, please don’t be afraid to try my lessons(^^)

・ Graduated from the University of Foreign Languages with a degree in Chinese Langauge.
・After graduating from university, I worked in export sales at an electronics manufacturer for eight years.
I used English and Chinese on a daily basis whilst working here.
・After retiring from this company, I started working as a Chinese language tutor.
・I also started working as a Japanese language tutor.
