Nice to meet you, I'm YUKA（ゆか）, an "etegami" watercolor painting instructor.
 
Free drawing (etegami) is not about sketching or using difficult techniques.
It is a simple painting technique that allows you to express your own emotions on a single postcard.
 
My painting style is based on traditional Japanese painting styles, and not the realistic style of Western paintings. I will explain in an easy-to-understand manner on how to hold your brush, how to use pigments, and how to handle paper. Wouldn't you like to send your own paintings to your loved ones? Beginners and children are more than welcome.
 
After graduating from Osaka Municipal High School of Arts, I worked as an illustrator and designer in various DTP and interent commercial fields.
I currently work as a Japanese-style painter and an etegami instructor.
 
2010 Started LivePaint activities to paint music. Also held a public mural.
2013 Founded the creative studio "Shiren-an (紫蓮庵)". Organized workshops for children, as well as solo exhibitions.
2016 ed for the 40th Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum New Japan Art Exhibition.
2017 Started "Jiyu na Etageigami Watercolor (自由な絵てがみ水彩画)" lessons.
2019 Started "Basic Course for LINE Stamp / Digital Illustration".
2020 Launched online store "Shiren-an (紫蓮庵)".
2021 Started remote lessons "Etegami Watercolors by zoom" lessons.
