English

Hello, my name is Nicola. 

I am a qualified tutor of the English language and a native British English speaker. I teach General and Business English. My speciality is teaching Medical English. 

My lessons are tailored to individual student requirements. I include lots of speaking practice and vocabulary exercises in my lessons. Video or audio files are selected to work on listening skills and articles are utilised for reading. Grammar and language points are also included. 

If you wish to practice a particular skill (listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar or increasing vocabulary) I am happy to prepare lessons to accommodate your aims and objectives.

A little about me

I was born in Scotland in the United Kingdom and I now live in the south of France in the Pyrenean mountains. I am quite close to the Spanish border and enjoy a day trip to Spain for some tapas.

I love nature, wild plants and walking my dogs. I am surrounded by nature. I can walk in the mountain forests or visit the Mediterrean coast. I enjoy travelling, learning about different cultures and meeting new people. I have an interest in history and wandering around ancient monuments and buildings.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you on your English languge journey.
