Hello! I’m Mellissa — a TEFL-certified native English teacher from Singapore.

Do you feel shy or nervous speaking English?
I help students speak comfortably and confidently in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.

My lessons focus on:

  • Natural conversation
  • Pronunciation and clarity
  • Everyday expressions you can actually use
Whether you want to improve daily communication, prepare for interviews, or simply feel more confident speaking, I’ll guide you at your own pace.

My teaching style
I create a calm and supportive space where making mistakes is okay. I understand how intimidating it can feel to speak a new language (I’m currently learning Turkish myself!) so I keep lessons patient, encouraging, and tailored to you.

My background
I’ve lived in both Singapore and the United States, and I’ve worked as a teaching assistant leading discussions and helping students engage more confidently. This experience allows me to support learners from different backgrounds and communication styles.

A little about me
I enjoy pop culture, traveling, and sports (especially football and F1). I love getting to know my students and making lessons feel natural and enjoyable.
