Cafetalk Awards・Voting for
the Spring / Summer Awards 2026 Just Started
The Cafetalk Awards is an official event held twice a year where students vote for online lessons they enjoyed taking, and tutors are awarded based on student votes as well as other metrics.
When you vote, you also get to participate in a lottery where you're guaranteed to win points! Share your favorite lessons with other students, let tutors know that you enjoyed their lesson, and win points at the same time!

Koyuki is a very kind and caring teacher - which I think is what makes her so wonderful. She truly wants to help you, and it's very easy to feel her kindness even across the screen! Kaoru sensei's materials are truly fantastic! They are a lot of fun while also providing ample opportunities to practise new vocabulary, expressions, and grammar structures. She's also a very kind and understanding teacher, and I appreciate her lessons a lot. I really recommend her lessons!

発音のレッスンをさせてもらいました。今まで発音の規則をあまり知りませんでしたが、発音の規則を知ることで今まで読めなかったハングルが読めるようになったり、韓国人の方に伝わる韓国語を話せるようになるんだなと思いました。 とても親切でレッスン内容も整理して伝えてくださって分かりやすかったです。

Cooper先生はとてもフレンドリーで、フィードバックも丁寧です。レッスンで言い間違えた事を事細かく書いてくれます。いつもそれを見るたびに、自分の英語がまだまだ未熟な部分があると少しへこむこともありますが…それをばねにしてこれからも頑張っていきたいと思います。

Award Details
Cast your vote for any lesson(s) you took during the first half of 2026. You can also vote for lesson packs!
Selection Method
The winners will be selected based on a scoring method that takes into account the number of student votes, lessons completed, and feedback received within the past 6 months.
Winner Announcement
June 25 (Thu), 2026 (Until 5pm JST *planned)
Type of Awards
The Cafetalk Awards are made up of three different sections: The Student Vote Based Awards, the Data Based Awards, and the "Unique Lesson Shout-out Awards".
Student Vote Based Awards
Please vote for the lessons you found most enjoyable and helpful! This applies to lessons you took during the first half of the year.
The tutors with the most votes overall will be given the Grand Prize, and the Newcomer Award will be given to several new tutors.
Additionally the following awards are given out based on characteristics voted for by the students:
- Most Fun Lesson Award
- Best Kids Lesson Award
- Best Lesson Material Award
- Best Conversationalist Award
Other prizes are awarded based on student votes in the most popular categories.

Data Based Awards
These awards are given out based on data accumulated over the past 6 months.
The categories are:
- Online Seminar Award
- Repeater Award
- Online Standby Award
- Tutor Column Award
Unique Lesson Shout-out Awards
These awards are chosen based on recommendations from Cafetalk staff.
The categories are:
- Intern's Choice "Interesting Lessons"
- Accountant's Choice "Nice priced lessons"
- Staff's Children's Choice "Fun lessons"
Japanese Free Talk 25min ★カメラOFF★
Tomo sensei is excellent at conversations! We never seem to run out of topics to discuss! She's very curious and asks many questions which is great for speaking practice, and which I appreciate a lot! Having no camera also helps me really focus on listening without looking for gestures to give me hints on the meanings of words. Her feedback is really insightful and detailed and very helpful! She's happy to discuss various topics and conversations never get dull! I highly recommend her lessons!
