Today I'll introduce Tachibana dera temple.　＝　My favorite place　＝

Tachibana dera temple founded in AD606, this temple is built on the site believed to be the birthplace of Prince Shotoku,who was a great supporter of Buddhism in Japan.
Most of the temple was rebuilt in the Edo period.

There is a mysterious stone,about 1 metre high,which predates the buildings,called the Nimenseki. Carved with the face of a man and a woman, it is thought to represent the two faces of humanity:good and evil.

奈良県（ならけん）の　明日香（あすか）にある　橘寺（たちばなでら）を　紹介（しょうかい）します。
６０６年、日本（にほん）で　仏教（ぶっきょう）を　強（つよ）く　支持（しじ）した　聖徳太子（しょうとくたいし）が　お生（う）まれになった　お寺（てら）だと　考（かんが）えられています。お寺の　大部分（だいぶぶん）は　江戸時代（えどじだい）に　建（た）て替（か）えられました。　お寺（てら）の　境内（けいだい）には、１メートルの　不思議（ふしぎ）な　石（いし）が　あります。建物（たてもの）より古（ふる）く、二面石（にめんせき）と　呼（よ）ばれています。男の人（おとこのひと）と　女の人（おんなのひと）の　顔（かお）が　彫（ほ）られていて、人間（にんげん）の　二つの顔（ふたつのかお）：善（ぜん）と　悪（あく）を　表（あらわ）しています。

私の　大好（だいす）きな　橘寺（たちばなでら）です。ここへ　来（く）ると　心（こころ）が　穏（おだ）やかに　なります。皆（みな）さんも　一度（いちど）おとずれてくださいね。
