50km run in memory of a friend....

A friend I met in America sadly passed away on Friday, due to complications during a surgery.

I decided to run 50km around the coast of New Zealand in his memory.

Waking up before the sun rose, my day turned out to be quite an adventure and was full of beautiful scenery, abundant nature and wildlife, rugged coastlines, mountains and more.

I even found a colony of seals!

All in all a wonderful day, and a perfect way to send off a wonderful human being.
