Travel during COVID-19 new life style.

2020年6月10日 | 1 コメント

Hello everyone ! I hope you are all doing well. My husband and I are happy to be able to go out and enjoy some activites again like overnight car camping ( social distancing of course) and also being able to travel and see some nice outdoor areas.

Last year on June 2nd we traveled to JOGASHIMA in Kanagawa prefecture, where we hiked around the island all day. It was very tiring but also very fun. Yesterday, we went back again with my mother-in-law and enjoyed the day! We were able to easily keep a social distance  due to lack of people but I felt bad that many places were suffering from the effects of COVID-19 and the island onsen that we had visied last year has now closed forever :(

I highly recommend a trip to this island if you have some time. Great for exploration, great seafood resturants , some are even dog friendly, and we were able to eat outside on a terrace which made me more comfortable and the dog was happy not to be seperated from us.
Traveling and enjoying Japan safely currently in our own prefectures and later expanding to other prefectures.
1.  We always have alchool hand wipes or hand snaitizer with us to use after using a public washroom that doesn`t have soap.
2. At resturant or establishment if we are outside and alone we dont wear a mask, but if others were around we would wear a mask until the meal arrives. We also wash our hands with soap if possible or use or wipes/ hand sanitizer again in this situation.

3. It`s summer so we aim to avoid other people and crowded situations, we put our masks on if we come across other people outdoors and the situation can`t keep a 2 m distance or more.
Life is more complicated now with COVID-19 but we are still hoping to enjoy life and travel soon!

Please enjoy the picture below of this quiet, quaint island .
