ウィスコンシン州の嵐の中に木が私の家の隣に落ちました。A tree fell next to my house during a recent Wisconsin storm. . .

At about 5:50 AM on Saturday morning, I woke up to the sound of very strong wind. I checked a local weather website, and I saw that there was a dangerous thunderstorm in my area of Wisconsin, and there were "tornado warnings." My husband and I took our dogs into the basement and we waited there until the storm passed.

There were no tornadoes near our house, but the wind reached 104 kilometers per hour, so one of our old trees fell. Luckily, the tree fell directly between our house and our garage, so it didn't cause any damage!

Now, we're working on cutting up the wood with a chainsaw and cleaning up our yard. We have a wood-burning furnace, so we'll be able to use the wood to heat our house this winter. At least the fallen tree won't be wasted!

Have any of you experienced fallen trees in Japanese typhoons?

Thank you, see you soon,
