But the time spent living in Japan was perhaps the greatest time of all and I will always hold a huge space in my heart for that country and it's wonderful people.
Our time there wasn't perfect, and despite what social media or cultural attitudes would lead you to believe - nothing in life is ever 'perfect'.
But I do truly feel that this time was as close to perfect as we could have had, and despite some very minor incidents and misunderstandings I wouldn't change this time for anything.
