Miyakojima - Paradise on Earth :-)

I consider myself very fortunate to have had some incredible life experiences, including travel, adventure, sports competitions, living abroad and more.

But the time spent living in Japan was perhaps the greatest time of all and I will always hold a huge space in my heart for that country and it's wonderful people.

Our time there wasn't perfect, and despite what social media or cultural attitudes would lead you to believe - nothing in life is ever 'perfect'.

But I do truly feel that this time was as close to perfect as we could have had, and despite some very minor incidents and misunderstandings I wouldn't change this time for anything.
