Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

Lyston G.

Dear, Readers.

It is my sincere hope that I find you well. I have been going through all the previous articles. I am glad many readers are enjoying the column.

We are within spitting distance of the hottest period of the year in Thailand. It usually happens from the beginning of April.

The annual Songkran Festival, which represents the Thai New Year, has been toned down, and the water splashing has been banned because of fears of the pandemic.

Today, I have a very interesting fun fact concerning the London Bridge. This is a very famous river crossing bridge located in London, UK. But here is the fun fact.

Are you ready?

Did you know that;

The London Bridge, originally constructed in 1831, was starting to fall apart by the 1960s.

As a result, the City of London decided to sell it and build another.
London Bridge Moved to Arizona 50 Years Ago

It was taken apart in 1963 after being bought by American oil tycoon Robert P. McCullogh and shipped to Arizona.

It was put back together piece by piece in Lake Havasu City, a city founded by McCullogh himself, serving as a tourist attraction.

The reconstruction took three years and was completed in 1971.

What a surprise! I was so intrigued by this fun fact I immediately wanted to share it with you. The London Bridge in Arizona!

I have never been to Arizona, USA. Readers who have been to Arizona can leave comments below. You can share your experience.

I hope you will enjoy reading this little fun fact. I will be back with more to share with you.

Enjoy the rest of this beautiful week. See you soon.
