Hello, everyone. How are you today? It’s Teacher Asuka.

Today, I’m going to think about what creates ‘Anxiety’ and how we can heal it.

When we are alive, having a lot of hardships or various worries to face such as getting illness, injury, jobless, disasters, aging, poverty and so on to cope with such situation, there are social security and welfare systems in general. Such systems will give us assistance in facing our living anxieties.

To heal anxiety, what else should we do?

Here’s a recent example to keep away from anxiety: General Practitioners in Manchester, UK have reported that they give patients who are suffering from mental disorder or loneliness some chances to plant or grow flowers, herbs, and plants in terms of treatment. Taking care of something like greens or pets as well as spending with plants or going for a walk will give people a lot of advantages even if those who have no pets or own gardens.

In addition, I’ll let you introduce a famous survey’s result about ‘Anxiety’ as follows: According to the survey from the University of Pennsylvania, 79% out of all the anxieties don’t happen, the rest of 16% can deal with if people have prepared, therefore, only 5% anxiety may happen in real.

In Buddhist teaching, ‘Anxiety’ is a ‘delusion’. It is often a signal that happens automatically from our nervous system. It’s emotions letting us know that we don’t feel safe with ourselves, life, or situation we’re in.

Mr. Brooks, from the Harvard Business School says without having anxiety, people cannot make a good performance, and mentions that ‘Anxiety’ is a ‘principle of act as a living-things’. In short, this survey shows that anxiety makes people cause desirable behavior.

I’ll suggest that, physically and financially, as much as possible, focusing on you, your mental health, your wellbeing and letting all negative things go. We need to think positive, to be positive, and to speak positive.

Let’s do it every day. Why don’t you make it a habit ?

Thank you for stayingwith me as well.

See you next time.
