Doing chores at home! 

My weekend is usally spent doing basic household chores, which I cannot do during my busy weekdays such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, and my favorite - grocery shopping.

I never imagined myself to enjoy grocery shopping. When I was a little girl, every time my family went out on weekends we always ended up in grocery stores to buy the family's necessities for a week or two. I always complained about it being a boring task because my mother would only buy the 'important' things which were no fun for me, at all. But now that I have a family of my own and a house to run, I became like my mother. Whenever my family goes out, we would also end up in a grocery shop buying 'no fun' items, albeit necessary. I enjoy doing it now. I feel relaxed and secured that we will have anything we need for the coming week. It's even therapeutic for me, at times.

A good tip I read somewhere a long time ago about grocery shopping - is to never to this with an empty stomach! Why?! Because you'll end up buying more things, especially food products, that aren't really necessary. Try it out! It's effective for me.
