The Biggest Natural Disaster In My City (South Africa Flood!)

Today I wanted to write to the Cafetalk community for prayers and well wishes. Over the last week in South Africa, the city known as Durban was hit by a Cyclone named Issa. Over 350 people have passed away and hundreds of people are missing. Many peoples homes were damaged and even washed away. I have lived in Asia and heard about natural disasters, even practiced drills but nothing could have prepared me for what we are experiencing. 

Due to damages of roads falling in and areas such as power stations are flooded as well as pipes destroyed leading to a loss of water. For over 5 days we have had no water and limited electricity. We are trying our best from driving out to get water and amenities. People are praying for Easter, Eid and the hindu festival of Kavadi. We hope to make it out off his dire situation, I have also attached pictures to show you the extent of this flood.
