子どもの頃、鬼ごっこが大好きでした。
例えば、鬼が滑り台の下からスタートしなければいけない「滑り台鬼」、ブランコの周りの地面に四角を描いて、その四角の中でブランコを軽くこいで鬼から逃げる「ブランコ鬼」、地面に四つの四角を描いて鬼は四角の中に入れない「十字鬼」などです。
今思うと、子どもの頃は自分たちで鬼ごっこの新しいルールを作って遊んでいました。
同じ鬼ごっこでもその時のメンバーにかなり年下の子がいたら、その子を追いかけ始める時、鬼は五つ数えなければいけないというようにルール変更をしていました。五つ数えることで小さな子が少し有利になるようにしてあげました。
遊びの中で、自然と個人差を考慮することをやっていたと思います。このコラムを描きながらとても懐かしい気分になりました。

I really liked playing tag when I was a child.
For example,
・'slide-tag': 'it' has to start to move under the playground slide
・'swing-tag': children have to move while sitting on the swings inside a square drawn around the swings and stay away from 'it' in order not to be touch
・'jyuji (cross)-tag': children have to run away from 'it' inside four squares drawn on the ground, and 'it' cannot go into the squares, etc.
At that time, we made the new rules of the tag by ourselves and played tag.
When we played the same tag at the time, if there was a small younger kid, we sometimes changed the rule, like 'it' has to count to five before 'it' begins to chase the kid. Because counting to five meant giving an advantage to the younger children.
While playing together, we saw the differences between individuals and considered them.
Writing this column while recalling the old memories makes me feel nostalgic.
