深夜0時から朝7時まで開いていて、メニューに無い料理も材料さえあれば何でも作ってくれる「深夜食堂」に来るお客さんと店主の人間模様を描いている作品です。

Actually, I enjoy reading manga and watching anime, and I'm reading 深夜食堂 recently. From the overview, we can see this manga is about a deli that opens from 12 pm to 7 am in the morning. There may not be many options on the menu, but the owner can take some off-menu orders as you require (IF REASONABLE!). 

On top of its thought-provoking contents, I also find it is a very good way for me to learn spoken Japanese (下ネタ多めですw). So, it came to my mind that it can be a perfct material for my students to learn spoken English as well!  

A lot of my adult students wanna learn converstational English not formal English. Lines in manga can be a very good way to achieve that purpose since it's concise and conversational, and you can also learn many idoms.
