この発音は… (Wondering how you pronounce it)

今週のテーマ: 母国語の発音が難しいと思う言葉を一つ教えて下さい

〜母国語の発音が難しいと思う言葉〜

日本語ネイティブ話者でも言いにくい言葉を考えてみました。

すると歌手の「きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ」さんの発音が難しかったことを思い出しました。

しかしその後、日本では有名 (多分海外でも有名な) アニメ「ドラえもん」のドラえもんが道具を出す時の声の調子に合わせてその歌手の名前を言うと、すんなりと言えるということを他の人から教わりました。

文字ではっきりと表現しにくいのですが、

音の高低 (ピッチアクセント：以下 H: 高い、L: 低い) を使うと、

「きゃりー(LH) ぱみゅ(HL) ぱみゅ(HL)」

という感じです。

当時これで発音してみた時、スムーズに言えることにびっくりしました。

学問的な説明は専門家ではないので言えませんが、ただ単純におもしろいなと思っています。

I tried to think about the difficult words to be pronounced even by native Japanese speakers.

Then, I remembered that smoothly pronouncing Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, a Japanese singer's name, was difficult.

After that, however, I learned how to pronounce her name smoothly from the famous anime character Doraemon. Whenever he pulls a gadget out of his 4D pocket, he calls the gadget name. His pitch accents at that time help me pronounce the singer's name smoothly.

It's not easy for me to explain how you pronounce it here. If I tell you with the Japanese pitch accent (High: H/ Low: L), it would be something like Kyary (LH) Pamyu (HL) Pamyu (HL).

At the time, I was surprised at how I could call it so smoothly.
