It's Children's Day Today!!

Tutor Mercy

In India, the 14th of November is celebrated as Children's Day. This is the birthday of our first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. He was very fond of children and children loved him too. He was called Chacha Nehru which means Uncle Nehru. This is mainly to emphasize the importance of education for children, including their rights and welfare.
At school, this day was observed as 'Talent Day' and we had the chance to showcase what we're good at: from singing to writing poems, and so much more. It was really special.
To any child reading this, I wanna wish you a Happy Children's Day!
