Have you ever been caught doing something bad?

Hello, and welcome to Speak Good English with me, Yishu. Do you ever occasionally do things that you should not? You may hear this phrase if someone catches you while this bad behavior is taking place! Find out more in this episode.

 

If someone is ‘caught red handed’ they are discovered doing something wrong and there’s no doubt.

 

So, it doesn’t mean their hands are really red. Let’s hear some examples.

  • Jorge was caught red-handed having a sneak peek of his presents before his birthday!
  • We caught Sam red-handed eating chocolate as she said she was giving it up.
  • The bank worker was sacked after being caught red-handed putting money into his bag.
