Money is considered to have a bad influence on people.
Let's consider this sentence. We notice that we are using passive voice here and the effect is attached with an infinitive clause.
The target of the influence is indicated with the on part (on people).
In German, a quite direct translation would be:
"Geld wird als negativer Einfluss auf Menschen betrachtet."
More naturally, we would say something like:
"Geld wird als schlechter Einfluss auf Menschen angesehen."
We should memorize the expressions:
- einen schlechten Einfluss auf etwas oder jemandem haben
- einen guten Einfluss auf etwas oder jemandem haben
as well the と考えられています or "is considered" equivalent in German: angesehen als
