Common sense, also referred to as "horse sense", is the unique ability that horses possess, which prevents them from betting on people.
An Idiot Alert is when a group of people claim they can intercept at will, something traveling at 20,000 km per hour (the speed of an intercontinental ballistic missile) while they have not yet mastered the basic skill of avoiding very large objects (think container ship or oil tanker) traveling at 20 km per hour.
I would borrow a little horse sense and refrain from betting on that group of people.
