Songs can be difficult to understand even in your own language. Let me know your favourite English songs and I will interpret and explain the lyrics, and meaning.

Aim: The aim is to understand the meaning of a song. Poetic language is hard to interpet, even if the vocabulary is unfamiliar. I can explain my interpretation of the song and why the writer has used the language in the way that they have.
How: Send me some of your favourite English songs when requesting the lesson. I will make sure I know and understand the song. Together we will read through the lyrics. I'll first explain any vocabulary that you need help with, then we can look at the meaning of each sentence. Afterwards we can discuss the meaning of the entire song and what it means to us.
