Idioms and slang are essential for fluency, more importantly they are also necessary for understanding movies and TV shows.

Description

This is a lesson to focus on idioms, slang and Japanese English.  Many English learners in Japan have no idea they are often speaking Japanese English.  How could they know, if no one has ever taught them its not natural or native English?

For example: native speakers & specifically in America do not call television shows 'Dramas'.  A drama is type or genre of TV show.  For example 'Friends' is not a 'Drama', it is TV show that is a comedy.  Calling all TV shows 'Dramas' is definity Japanese English.

We can talk freely or decide on a topic before the lesson.  We can also use an article or other materials to discuss.

I will correct pronunciation, sentence structure and grammar while chatting and keeping in mind to give you plenty of opportunity to speak.

Occasionally, I may also write corrections and suggestions for other vocabulary, more common, or natural grammer in the Skype while we talk.

Thanks for checking this lesson and I hope to hear from you soon!  ;-)
