The IELTS test is a English certification test that many people take in order to live their dream of immigrating to an English-speaking country and/or studying in that country. Is this your dream? Then this course is for you!

In this introduction to IELTS, we will take a brief tour through all four sections of the IELTS test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. When we're done with the tour, you'll have a very good idea of what you need to do to get a score sufficiently high to accomplish your dream.

This class is meant to be a preliminary dip into the pool of IELTS, so you can see if you're interested in taking the test. If you are, you and I can talk about taking a deeper dive into the test, so you'll be fully ready for the test when you do decide to take it.

My teaching style is "let's get down to business" and fun at the same time. That is, we have work to do because that's what's needed to accomplish your goals, but we'll have plenty of laughter too.

I like to teach using PowerPoint slides, and as an added bonus, I'll give you the PowerPoint presentation for this class when we're done, so you'll have a permanent record of it. 

I have lots of experience teaching IELTS, and my students have done very well on the test. As one of my students said to me:
