This lesson is for one hour. 
 
This lesson focuses on recent events in Japan. What are some of the current events that are making the news? Of course, world news in relationship to Japan can be covered as well. 
 
In this hour version, we can also talk about news unrelated to Japan. Please let me know the topic or share the news with me before the lesson. 
 
If time permits we can share news articles or topics with each other a day or more before the lesson starts. 
 
I usually read through the Japanese news in English from news sites such as listed below every weekday.
