Getting 'get': it's a very useful verb!
Description
Are you a little confused about get? You're not alone! Many students ask about the verb because it doesn't mean just one thing. We use it in a variety of ways...and we use it a lot!
In this lesson, we explore some of the most common meanings of get and some 'get' expressions.
Lesson format:
1. Speaking activity: use get in conversation.
2. Short reading activity: notice different examples of get.
3. Matching activity: match examples of get with their meanings.
4. Speaking activity: use get in conversation, again!
If you would like get homework, I can get you some, too!
Ideal for pre-intermediate to intermediate students.
Upper-intermediate and advanced students - if you would like to get some get help, let me know your level when you request the lesson and I will adjust the lesson to suit you.
