1. Warm-Up
Goal: light-hearted question.
- Prompt: “If you could visit any country in the world for a month, where would you go, and why?"
2. Main Activity: Sharing Challenges and Emotions
Goal: Practice expressing feelings and describing challenges in a detailed way.
Part A: Describe a Recent Challenge
- Prompt: “Tell me about a recent problem you have faced. It can be personal or work-related. How did it make you feel?”
- Expressions to introduce:
- “At first, I felt…”
- “It was challenging because…”
- “I realized that…"
Part B: Discuss a Recent Accomplishment
- Prompt: “Now, tell me about something you’ve accomplished recently that made you proud.”
- Expressions to introduce:
- “I felt accomplished because…”
- “The most rewarding part was…”
- “Looking back, I’m proud that…"
3. Reflection and Vocabulary Review
Goal: Consolidate new vocabulary and expressions used.
- Optional follow-up question: “How might you apply these expressions in a future situation?”
4. Closing Question
Goal: Prompt: “What’s one thing you’re looking forward to in the next few weeks?”
